The Brief – the existing Cornish cottage currently has three Bedrooms at first floor level with a single ground floor Bathroom. Planning permission was granted for a two storey rear extension in St Ives, Cornwall, that would provide a ground floor Lobby, Boot Room and Utility, with a Master Bedroom and Bathroom at first floor.  The project required full building regulations approval and was sent out to tender to three local contractors.

 

CAD were employed to run the contract on site which involved weekly inspections and monthly valuations. Works on the two storey extension began in October 2013 and despite a wet winter, the project was completed in January 2014 on time and budget!!
